Comfortable Room Overview
A room I modeled entirely from scratch in Maya
Though the chair's anatomy gave me some trouble at first, I still think the final look was appealing.
Each book was created independently so that they could be pulled from the shelf one-by-one or scattered if need be for the script
What's more cozy than a book nook?
Realistic curtains give the impression they are already modified with eCloth

A Look At Geometry
Texturing, Bump-Mapping, and Lighting Oh my!
The wood table and the wrench were textured and bump-mapped by me.
I textured and lit this scene. Adding in the leaf-hinting shadows was my favorite touch.
All textures and lighting done by me
I added a logo on this render.
3D Artwork and Animation
I would love to someday become a storyboarder for a private or large company project. I love creating 2D and 3D animatics as well, and I am steadily trying to build my knowledge and portfolio in these areas. Most of the work featured below are from my 2 years in art school. I had a lot of fun building puppet rigs for basic character dolls, texturing and lighting, and objects model creation.

Though I currently do not own a functioning version of Autodesk Maya or 3D Max, I have been building basic set ups in the free program Sketch Up. I miss working in the more complex programs, but for now, I can still accomplish a lot of the foundation work in Sketch Up.

As far as working with 3D geometry goes, I work with clean quads with generally good flow. I enjoy the process of condensing faces while maintaining quads in hidden areas (such as the back of the buildings shown for the animatic below.
