About Me

Greetings!

My name is Damian Lector. I am an artist currently living in Indiana, USA. I live a simple life with my wife and furry-daughter, a young Maine Coon mix named Freddy. I have two years of college education and over five years experience as a freelance artist and writer. When I'm not drawing or typing away on my keyboard, I can usually be found watching television, reading something by Michael Chrichton, R. L. Stine, or one of my other favorite authors, spending time with my family, or just lazing about and enjoying myself.

My favorite form of entertainment is informational comedy; Shows like "Adam Ruins Everything" and "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" and Youtube channels like "Sci-Sho" and "Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell" are the best! I also greatly enjoy American and Japanese animation, comic books, and movies. My interest in music range from the works of modern rock bands like Fall Out Boy to violin and piano instruments to 80s mullet rock and modern bubblegum pop.

Just as my interests vary, so too does my artwork. I believe in experimenting with styles and always trying to find new ways to better my work. I adore acting as an aid and teacher to those around me and I appreciate solid critique and feedback as well.
